Our "Black Hills Gold frames" encase a special insert featuring a red or blue raised medical caduceus emblem. Select from Sterling Silver or 10K Gold Filled inserts. We engrave your custom medical information on the back of this insert. and also place a thin engraved disc over the back for clarity. The disc is removable.
Black Hills Gold Jewelry is produced from a 10 karat gold blend, accented with 12 karat rose and green gold leaves. Gold in its purest form (24 karat) is too soft to use in the manufacturing of jewelry and of course is extremely expensive. Therefore, alloys such as copper and silver are properly balanced to give it strength, reduce the cost and maintain the brilliant gold color
